Dog Toy Development Set - Angry Birds Plush
258In quick succession, Rovio’s Angry Birds had racked up over 50 million downloads, and it became apparent that they needed to emphasize their licensing division to cash in. When licensing their brand, Rovio granted the rights of their IP to a handful of licensing partners who'd help manufacture, market, and sell products bearing the Angry Birds name, one of which was Hartz. They held the exclusive North American license for Angry Birds pet toys, which precluded other companies from infringing on their market. However, it wasn't for lack of trying, specifically from one Manhattan based Toy & Novelty company. Today, we look back upon Commonwealth's attempt at their own pet toy line, covering every aspect imaginable, including an in-depth showcase of the never-before-seen items themselves. This video will include analysis, postulations, and some storytelling.
