Super Mario Bros. 2 is based on this game. The main difference is that in Doki Doki Panic the player cannot run. Also, to play through the game completely, you'll have to beat it with all four characters.

I used savestates for creating the video, that's why the run looks very smooth. Some parts I played over 100 times to get an entertaining result. I worked on the longplay for 3 months, a few hours every day. Without savestates I would never be able to create such a video.
