When rewatching Dolphin's 10th Anniversary video, I noticed that they said that their Broadband Adapter functionality was good enough that the emulator could communicate directly with a real Gamecube. So, like any borderline crazy person would do, I spent $60 USD to get a Broadband Adapter of my own to test this out!

As it turns out, not only does it work seemingly perfectly, but it's super simple to set up as well! All you need, besides the actual broadband adapter and game you want to play, is a Cat5 Crossover Cable (I got a really short one for like $7 USD). After that, you just follow the instructions for setting up Dolphin to play over LAN with another PC (the instructions for Windows and Linux can be found here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Broadband_Adapter), but instead of connecting two computers, you connect your computer with the Gamecube instead!

This was done on the (as of this video's making) latest Dolphin developer build 4.0-8992, but any version of 4.0 or higher (even the stable builds) should work as well.

Any instances where one character did nothing was because I tried to juggle between using my Xbox controller for the emulator and a Gamecube controller for the actual Gamecube. I couldn't get anyone to help because I have no friends :(
