1Twentyish years ago, my neighbors held a block party for fourth of July. We ate barbeque, tossed around water balloons and lit off fireworks. But for a good portion of the day, us kids huddled together around the Super Nintendo and took turns trying to conquer Donkey Kong Country. We traded the controller around as we took turns exploring the world of Donkey Kong Country and trying to take down K.Rool. And still, when I think of DKC, I remember that time. So in honor of my childhood friends hanging out on July 4th, I wanted to bring you guys a walkthruogh for Donkey Kong Country. This video walkthrough will take you through all seven worlds, getting every bonus and all KONG letters so you can get the elusive 101%. Keep in mind that Donkey Kong is better with bigger enemies and areas of force, while Diddy is better at jumping and finesse.
The first part starts the journey with the first world: Kongo Jungle.
