Donkey Kong Jr. Math: Brain Age in 1986 | Unpacking Nintendo's Black Boxes – Episode #23
Donkey Kong Jr. Math gets a lot more flack than it deserves. Is it good? No. Does it do a good job as an edutainment game? Not really, no. HOWEVER, it is absolutely not the worst game in the black box set. The two player mode is actually pretty fun! It also allows us to infer how Nintendo decided to move forward in its pursuit of educational games, which is quite cool.
Correction: I say the last copy sold for $5k on Ebay. This was true at the time, but it has now leveled out to around $2-3k.
