A new flaw in the design of the RTX 3090, 3080, 3070, 3060 Ti, and 3060 has just been discovered that can lead to them losing performance at lower resolutions or when paired with older CPUs. Sometimes even an AMD RX 5700 XT can beat an RTX 3090 depending on what CPU is being used, and AMD’s Radeon RX 6900 XT, 6800 XT, 6800, and 6700 XT will perform very well with any CPU or resolution you use. So before you buy an RTX 3090, 3080, 3070, or 3060 GPU you may want to take a look at your PC and monitor’s resolution first.
