I often see comments that have bought into the commonly-held belief that "Windows is better than SteamOS because I can play *all* my games." But this is a complete myth. Fact is: SteamOS and Proton yield much better results when it comes to most games--especially retro titles. So unless you're playing something like Destiny 2 or this years Call of Duty derivative, you're gonna have a better experience on Linux/SteamOS.
