1Let's begin by acknowledging that the game excels in its graphics and offers a truly immersive atmosphere, deserving a solid 10 for its visual impact. The use of the body cam and camera shake is executed perfectly. However, the game's primary objective is to induce fear through jump scares, which, in my experience, fell short. The excessive use of random jump scares, devoid of any logical connection, fails to evoke fear. Insufficient suspense builds, not to mention the map glitches, like the moose inexplicably stuck in the ceiling, which sometimes bordered on comical. Despite these issues, the core idea isn't without merit, but considering the extensive promotion on various social media platforms, I had higher expectations for a truly terrifying experience. It's unfortunate, but I hope Don't Scream 2 will manage to deliver a more satisfying horror experience.
