To be honest - it is a half parody.
I can't stress enough how awful a decision it was on my part to choose this engine almost 4 years ago to make my 3D games.

I know many of you will simply defend this garbage engine - I really don't care.
I wasted 3,5 years of my life using it, had so many problems I can't even count.

Godot is not the new Unity, it is not "the Blender of game engines" nor it is the messiah of game engines.

Godot propaganda is really strong.
The engine is overhyped and I think that nobody should use it for anything more complex than simple stylised games, preferably not even 3D.

Screw this crap, please don't use it.
