DOOM (1993) - Episode 2 - Keyboard only, original resolution, OPL 3 (Soundblaster)
My playthrough of the second episode of DOOM (1993) "The Shores of Hell" on Hard skill, played the way (mostly) how it was common to be played back when it was released, the rule that Doom is meant to be played keyboard only is a myth however, though it is true that when the game was released a number of PC gamers at the time did not have an mouse, so it was common for most to play the game keyboard only.
I used the Crispy Doom source port, without high resolution rendering so the game runs in the resolution of 320x240, only change I did however was to keep the resolution widescreen (mostly a personal reason, due to the black bars issue), the midi playback is also OPL3 which simulates the sound of an Soundblaster 16.
Also the iwad is actually Ultimate Doom, I'm sorry.
Special thanks to @ClassicDOOM for secret references.
If you played DOOM back when it was released and happens to be watching this video, feel like at home, and I hope to relive those times for you, enjoy the nostalgia. 👍
