A pretty interesting map, which can be pretty tricky in the first part, without an armour. the green armour can infact be obtained in the second part, which is when you actually would it the least... There are a few points particularly dangerous where you need to knock down the enemies from the down side, before running forward, or you might get killed being shooted by several sides. Once you reach the supercharge, the level is rather easy, because you got then enuff health and weapons. Even tho the beginning could have been smoother, I really love how i handled the red key area, no lost souls in the way and rockets did pretty much the job they were asked to. I decided to upload this run before the map 7,8,9 and 10 (of which i got already demorecorded as well) because i wanted to check out the result of the editing after my latest changes of software (check the notes down, if interested). The previous DSDA time was 3:11 by Rich Sham.

Notes:
last weeks were either full of holidays or i simply had usual pc problems. Since thursday I finally decided to backup my stuff and format+ try windows 7. Why am i writing it down? Should you care? Well, actually maybe, yea. As many others, I was experiencing several troubles with audio+video synchronization while recording. Using asus gamer osd solved partly, but fraps quality for recording is just superior.
Fraps can give many problems of either audio and video, and in the newest version, a few of those are solved. What wasnt fixed, was exactly the video getting slowed down progressively while recording (not the audio!), alas even using programs like audacity (recording the sound output and then cutting it into a video recorded without sound) didn't solve a damn thing. With windows 7, I could re-arrange my audio setting properly, and also get my sound frequencies down to 44,1 khz, which helped (first thing to try if you got troubles). Additionally, as usually written as tip, trying out not too big resolution/fps is important. I'll keep recording with 50fps, since 60 is causing some slight desync even now. Not trying higher resolution (1024*768), since the size of videos may grow too much. Another reason for trying out a newer operative system in case you have problems with fraps/recording in general, is the chance to have new version of editing programs. Some of the older editin programs infact, were also a source of video flaws, black screens, audio-lags etc. I also found incredibly better fraps' performances overall, since i could even record directly the gaming, without using the -playdemo feature, if i'd like. I was also looking for the newest versions of asus gamer osd (compatible with vista/win7), but unlikely i thought, they still don't support anything above 30fps, so I'm really happy about fraps working, and hopefully this time not for only a few days ;P
