Experimenting with different doom mods for quite sometimes now, and I just come across this gameplay mod called, Factutom. Made by GAA1992, the same guy who made two gameplay mods, Flakes Doom and Kriegsland: Blutorden. It's basically kinda like a survival horror-type of mod where the more you used your weapon, the more it loses it durability and likely to jam. The keys to avoiding those situations are the repair kits on each weapon you use except for grenades and machetes.There's a lot of sounds and weapons that are borrow and used on this mod from Early Resident Evil games, Dino Crisis 1 & 2, Parasite Eve, Quake, etc. Couple of references in those games too.

I'm playing a mapset called Innocence X, it's a 10 map wad that more like Doom 64/PSX in term of the lighting and effects, but with your good old Doom 2 textures. I figure that this and Factutom gameplay mod would go well together due to its focus on survival horror element and with the whole repair and durability system that encounter the player to use different weapons rather than just one that their comfortable with.
