So if the frame rate on this one is choppy at points, there's really not much I can do. It's also choppy playing the map on my system because there's like... 10k monsters alive at one point and that, combined with the extraordinarily large map scale and high detailing causes DSDA-Doom to have some framerate issues. It was worse before final release, as between RC1 and the final release of the wad, I went and made a very nice reject table that seemed to alleviate a lot of the framerate issues. However, depending on your rig, not all of it goes away. Sorry about that. I guess I went a bit overboard in my attempts of going "all out" for, what's basically a magnum opus map in a way. I'm sure my aging hardware in my computer isn't helping any of that, either.

Description:

I knew an Arch-Vile jump was possible when I made the map, I just didn't know which method would be most viable or safest. This seems to be the best bet, unless you like grinding for near-impossible scenarios. Being which, miiiiight be possible to get one at the start before those Viles in the middle are dead, but plowing through that many HKs and the Cyber Jrs. without dying is a task that I'm just not willing to attempt. Could probably shave off another 30 or so seconds by running straight north from the start to open the Arch-Vile temple. I'd think sub-8 minutes is doable with that in mind and having the Viles capable of reaching you to boost you into the exit faster.

Also, I missed the first Vile jump exit, so there's some time wasted. This was only my second exit but I wanted to get something up. Might look at this again and do that sub-8 run but we'll see what the future has or what I have time to attempt.
