I've been mapping for Doom 2 in my spare time, which is sort of why the channel has been inactive. Here is a showcase of one of the maps I've made. If you feel like it, download the wad below and give it a play through!

Notes: The 1st map I made for the DBP series and second (non-speedmap) map I ever made. This map consists of 3 small claustrophobic fights in a looping layout where only one of the fights is required to exit the map. Ammo and health are quite tight in this map. Doing the additional fights will grant the player a chaingun and extra rocket launcher ammo. I built this map as several disconnected arenas and then stitched them together at the end. The deadline for the project was one month.

Looking back at this map now, it establishes a lot of reoccurring elements in my maps: floor tile cutouts, round rooms, and lowering floor ambush traps. I thought for sure that I would continue making small claustrophobic maps like this for the DBP series, but boy was I wrong about that. :]
