DOOM 2016's Mod Quick Swapping style is absolutely Beautiful
0So, lately I picked up DOOM 2016 again. I was mostly curious about how the quickswap felt there after playing Eternal for so long (also I wanted to use automatized remote detonation without feeling silly for once). While I was messing a bit with it, I found out that not only in DOOM 2016 you can use the same modswap technique I discovered in Eternal (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-fcfvKbCrA), but also that the tech is much much stronger there.
With it, you can pretty much skip a lot of mods' "post-fire" animations together with the mod swap animation itself, of course.
This guide is actually the first of a series (well, of 2) videos about DOOM 2016 quickswapping techs. The second one - don't know when I'll finish it - will showcase a brand new exploit so insane that this one pales in comparison.
