Doom 3 BFG 16K resolution | Titan RTX | 16K UHD | 15360x8640 | 16K gaming was recorded for demonstration purposes. I will demonstrate 16K UHD resolution rendered in real-time during this video and the performance in Doom 3 BFG PC game running in 16K resolution on old school Xeon E5 2697 v2 CPU + Titan RTX video card. This is a workstation PC for video encoding and 3d rendering and not a dedicated gaming PC, but you can see that workstation equipped with a very old CPU can play the game without any issues. I used the 8K native screen + Nvidia DSR method that forced 16K resolution to render the game and downscaled in 8K resolution, so monitoring data of PC performance at the corner will be the same if it would render 16K resolution and output on 16K resolution screen.

A system that was used:
CPU: XEON E5 2697v2 with 12 cores and 24 threads overclocked to 106 BCLK clock and only 3 physical cores were enabled while the rest cores were disabled.
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i Pro XT
Motherboard: Gigabyte X79 UD3 v1.1
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 32 GB (4x 8GB 1600 MHz cl9 - Quad-channel but downclocked to 1120 MHz to keep everything stable)
Video card: Titan RTX video card 24 GB of VRAM and completely stock air cooler and stock thermal compound paste but overclocked through software GPU: +100 MHz, VRAM: +2000 MHz
CPU cooler: Corsair H100i XT Pro
PSU: EVGA T2 1600 Watt (Titanium grade)
Storage: a bunch of Samsung 850 pro and Crucial MX500 2 TB and some mechanical HHD for storage long time back up.
Recorder: Nvidia ShadowPlay recorded on the same computer, so please add +5 fps to get performance without the recording.
PC Case: Corsair 900D (roomy for any video cards (up to 4x video cards) and best case I ever owned that I highly recommend)
