And here it begins! My restart of releasing Doom 3 Playthroughs. Now this time, i WILL finish the game! I ended the last try to play, because I lost the savegames.

This first Part / the first Level is Boring! Its 17 Minutes pure running and exploring around the complex. The real action comes in Level 2, that I will upload later.

And, im playing in Difficulty "Veteran" !

I've modded Doom 3 with two graphics mods! The first one is called relief mapping (http://doom3.filefront.com/file/DOOM_3_Relief_Mapping;50039). It transforms all the normal mapping textures into parallax mapping! This means, that the textures getting a pseudo 3D-look.
And the other mod is called Sikkmod 1.2.(http://www.moddb.com/mods/sikkmod) It adds some nice post-effects into the screen. HDR, DoF, Bloom, Motion Blur, Lens-Effects etc.

And this Playthrough is a Troll to all Console Players, who wants to play Doom 3 BFG Edition on their consoles... they will never get this awesome graphics in the BFG Edition!

And the last, but not least... my System Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 2400 @ stock frequency of 3.1 GHz (not oc'able. But it has Turbo Mode, if a game is running @ 3.3 GHz)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6950 @ 890 MHz Core & 1250 MHz Memory
RAM: 4 GB of whatever the fuck i know
MoBo: Gigabyte PH67-UD3 (fucked up by some manufacturing errors, thanks to intel. I only can use SATA 3 Ports)
Sound: The mighty and beautiful good old never beatable: Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music (not Xtreme audio or any other low profile crap)
