Here are some updated skies for version 1.0.1! I am also testing some slight edits to the weapon sprites so you may see a stray colored pixel or too until I optimize my process. Built upon the achievements of DZDoom and Doom 64 Retribution, Doom 64 CE takes advantage of the latest features in GZDoom to add even more visual options. Gradient lighting is combined with dynamic lighting and PBR textures, making this the port of Doom 64 with the most advanced lighting system. Textures and sprites are upscaled and smooth animations are created with various AI algorithms. Further there is a plethora of other optional effects for gore, fire, and explosions as well. Molecicco achieved this with careful programming inside and outside of the GZDoom engine, which allowed the work in DZDoom and Retribution to be imported. It is compatible with GZDoom, which also comes bundled in the mod and allows it to be standalone (no extra downloads necessary). To get the most of this port, I recommend a more modern gaming computer. It is an impressive achievement, up there with the likes of DZDoom and Retribution!
