1. zdoom vs gzdoom - The difference is night and day, softer, warmer, more clarity - WHY?
2. The GAME_EMU shouldn't have such a pronounced effect between versions if there is no documentation to explain why - so what has changed so much?
3. the GENMIDI from DOOM 1 should not be used ever -
Maybe i am too confused at this point - because i have no idea what is going now. But it looks like 99% of people are still using the wrong GENMIDI file. EVEN with an accurate ENGINE such as chocolate doom, ZDoom, DOSBox, or maybe GZDoom (but no evidence that it even uses the genmidi.lump)
What the f?
i need to approach this differently.....and on my own currently it is just giving this duck a headache!
