Brutal Doom takes Doom into a whole new level. It makes the game much more violent than before. There's much more blood, plus it adds unique gibs, death animations, dismemberments, headshots, executions, fire and explosion particles, flares, shadows over all objects, and much more.
The whole world becomes more real and interactive.You can kick severed limbs and heads (and sometimes, use it to activate some traps in the map earlier, or even kick them against enemies to do some damage), you can shoot enemies' heads to deal more damage (and cause more gruesome deaths) you can destroy most things in the the scenario (trees, lamps, hanging bodies, etc), you can paint the floor, the walls, and even the ceiling with blood, you can push the explosive barrels to make traps, or grab them and use like an explosive weapon, you can silently take down enemies from behind and perform stealth kills, the chainsaw actually cuts the enemies in two. When you find the berserk pack and get super strength, you can perform cinematic executions and RIP AND TEAR your foes with your bare hands. Some enemies will scream in anguish and try to crawl away when near death, and they can be used as human shields, and much, much more. Prepare to see the most disturbing, sadistic and morbid manifestation of violence that you ever seen in your life. This is the definitive gameplay enhancement mod for the GZDoom and Zandronum engines. Warning: After you see it, it cannot be unseen!

Brigandine is a standalone singleplayer map for limit-removing ports. A running battle through a twisty terraced city of brick, iron and skin.
The work is sustained in the style of classical infernal castles, although it is noticeable that the action takes place in the world of people. In the complex architecture of the map, the depth is felt, and thanks to the elaborated background installations it seems much more than it really is. Masonry bricks, reinforced with a heavy metal frame, smoothly pass into buildings of marble monoliths. Much attention is paid to lighting, and the general features of geometry are rich in smooth forms. Each separate location carries unique details and design findings. Given that the map is created on standard resources, you can not help marveling at the inventiveness of the author.
The duration here is not great, but in these 15-20 minutes the player will face well-designed gameplay situations. From the very beginning, the player will have to fight for life, maneuvering and hiding in a small room from the shots of shotgunners and rockets of the rebounds. The opposing force is never homogeneous. Opponents are placed competently, and do not rush to the player crowd, being activated gradually. It is very important not to miss the rocket gun. On the map there are two, but the first one in a hurry can be overlooked. The balance of cartridges favors accurate and economical players, and only the shotguns and machine guns do not pave the way to the finale. Fortunately for the player, the balance of the first-aid kits is verified ideally, and in critical situations, a pair of soulspheres will help out.
On this map, the owners feel themselves cacodemons. The geometry of the map allows them to be very effective, and their unexpected appearance introduces an element of surprise and turmoil into the gameplay. Mankubus often find themselves in close proximity to the player, the rebounds attack from the heights, the arachnotrons control the sites, and the hitkanners wait in niches. The author, without abuse, ordered the latter. Unless the final battle with archviles can cause difficulties, especially if the ammo are already running out.
