1994's DooM II: Hell on Earth is the official sequel to 1993's DooM (or you can say 1995's Ultimate DooM because Ultimate DooM was a re-release of DooM with an additional first episode which takes place just before the events of DooM II). It retained everything good about DooM and improved on many parts. Also, it featured many new monsters and a brand new weapon - the Super Shotgun. The original DooM was a revolutionary game, not only in the FPS genre, but in the history of video games as a whole. While DooM II was not able to create a new history, it will surely go down as one of the greatest games of all times.
