This is a secret map. First of all, you must not have gotten any weapons in secret areas before getting the yellow key for going to map 32. A yellow key in the room had disappeared when you got a weapons in the secret. This was a hint but it's unkind for players. As a result, the way was changed from many critical feedback. You have to pick up weapons in the secrets for map 32 instead. I felt it was difficult to deal with a trick which can't turn back in Doom.
