2This is just some footage of Doom on the PS1. This was the best console port of Doom in the 90's. They made quite a bit of changes as you can see. colored lighting, Doom 2 enemies in the original Doom, and an ambient soundtrack just to name a few of the changes. Compared to the other 90's console ports of Doom I own (I haven't played the Jag, Saturn, or 3DO versions), the PS1 port plays so smoothly. It's framerate isn't perfect, but overall, compared to the 32X, and Snes ports, this game is as smooth as butter.
