This video shows an RPG-like level created using Doom Builder 2 and ZDoom ACS scripting. Through scripting, it is possible to initiate conversations, keep track of brand new values such as credits and monsters killed, give the player items through interactions with characters and machines, and more! It is possible to expand on this idea and create entire RPG-like worlds, complete with side quests, storylines, and even branching conversations.
