With Windows 3.1 being a more simpler version of MS-Dos you would've thought Doom wouldn't be much of a problem.
But for some reason Doom isn't so friendly with Windows 3.1 so getting it to work was a pain.

How do you get this?
1st: you need a Special Version of DOOM. Version 1.666 (anything higher may not work)
2nd: Install Doom into Windows 3.1 (pretty simple) but be sure you have an Iwad with it (Doom1, Doom, or Doomu)
3rd: Download & Install "WinG" which is a grandfather version of DirectX.
4th: Download WinDoom. (A port of Doom made for Windows 3.1 or 3.11) & extract it into your Doom Directory.

5th: Run Doom.exe & kick some demon ass!

*Note* This port is not very stable because it never left the Beta Stage so you'll may witness some crashes or sound issues.
You may even have to change the sound cards to make it more stable.

I'm using General Midi for Music & PC Speaker for Sound Effects.
