"Design" - oh yeah. Author did big work with this map. Looking like classic doom and he add some classic episodes from original maps. So, it's all. I think you better try or watch video that read.
Ok, rates. It's 10/10. Well deserved.

"Classic gameplay" - yeah, it's classic. Only author didn't add "save". Hm, not bad idea. Click, save and go forward. In this map only checkpoints and be sure - it's not so easy like original. Hiden some secrets and you can choose difficult.
Well, ok. It's 9/10. Yes, not 10, but it's good. Why I give 9 - well, it's classic map with good classic gameplay, but it's not original and you will "nostalgia, better I will play Doom 1 & 2". New engine, so 9.

"Classic" - like you see - it's really classic style. You can find hiding secrets like in original, you can see classic difficults, classic episodes from original lvls (no? look more carefully).
Ok, rates. Rate is 9.5/10. Little not 10, little things not like classic - double jump and picture, it's not original. I know that map is cool, but this map can't be 10/10 for all players.

Avarage rate - 9.5/10. Very good. This map deserve this. So, doomguy161, good job! I don't know about "I want classic" or alse, but this map is good attempt to create classic map in modern engine.
