I've been making games for a long time. The first was Final Doom in 1995, after which I joined Valve and worked on the Half Life series, Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Team Fortress series, and other things in between.

The start room in this map is tough but really rewarding and fun to play. Never boring, never frustrating, not grindy like the map title would have you believe. I cornered myself once or twice, but eventually got unstuck. The last room is interesting!

All of my Doom playthroughs are free range organic goodness - not tool assisted in any way other than the standard save/loads. Difficult fights with many attempts are numbered for full skill level disclosure :)
