The Doomsday Cypher is a year-end culmination of auspicious hip-hop artists coming together to put their talent on display in the most timeless format in rap music, the cypher. The Sway In The Morning broadcast team has surveyed hundreds of artists throughout the year and handpicked the top emcees to pair their lyrical aptitude with two of the preeminent producers in the industry.

Hosted by the Sway In the Morning team of Sway Calloway, Heather B, Tracy G and DJ Wonder, the 2017 Doomsday Cypher was the 5th annual event that did not disappoint. Filmed in front of a live audience at the YouTube studios, an iconic moment in hip-hop history was made.

Brooklyn native Danse brought his raw gritty bully rap style to the cypher and captured the crowd. While LG followed up showing why he is on of the hottest emcees coming out of New Orleans.
