DOOMtober Tutorial Part II: Building Basics
5I forgot to dwell on it, but you use the arrow keys to adjust textures on walls. You can't adjust flats in vanilla Doom.
Some helpful hotkeys that you will see me use in this video and Part III
C - clears all selections
Spacebar - hold to move around in 2D mode
Shift + Left click in visual mode - select wall or flat with the same texture set
Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V work for copy and paste
Left click and drag to select multiple objects, depending on what mode you have selected in 2D mode.
Right click and drag to move objects, including lines, vertices, things, whatever mode you're in.
V enters Vertex mode in 2D viewer. Lets you move corners instead of entire lines.
There's probably more I'm forgetting.
