Beat it in a second attempt right after but didn't record it. Took me awhile to get used to the weird control layout. (I'm not changing the controls because I can't read the language)

So, I know this game has a mythical reputation of sorts. This thing can happen when it's a game that is hard (Very hard in this case) to access. Like, you have some people talking this thing up like it's so amazing and well, you can't exactly refute them because you can't play it. A similar thing happened with Rondo of Blood on PC Engine although that game is good, just not quite as good as people say it is. The music in Dracula X on SNES is better, just saying.

Honestly, I don't know. I think it's kinda overrated. You have a bunch of moves, sure. But moves don't mean anything if you don't make them matter. A lot of them seem pretty pointless. Defense seems lacking. I don't know if there is a defensive special or anything but if there is nothing you can do that is really bad how you can just get hit repeatedly and you just have to take it.

Music isn't great and the graphics are mix of good and weak. Sound effects aren't hot.

I have no idea how much damage things do which is a problem so that doesn't help. No life bars of any kind, no way to tell how much damage things do. Well, the knee sure as hell isn't as strong as it is in Double Dragon II NES.

It's no Streets of Rage 4, which is fine. But it's no Streets of Rage 2 either. And I get the strong feeling I'll like Double Dragon Advance more. Also I think Double Dragon II NES is a much more distinct game.

Anyway, I plan on beating it on hard difficulty and maybe doing some speedruns or something but I doubt I'll stick around for too long. It's not interesting enough as far as I can tell.
