The tomato is a collectible that you can find right before the boss at the end of the run. The tomato spawns only if you have not visited a single side room in the entire run, that includes shops as well.

I'm actually wondering if this could be harder in normal mode... In hard mode there are more ennemis so you can get 25x combo way more often and that heals you 1hp everytime you get one. The difficulty of the game is also weirdly balanced, the first 6 floors are the hardest by far and the further you go down the floors, the easier it gets. It was fun nonetheless!
