i've gotten so many PMs about hoimi table so i made the entire step-by-step demo video for guaranteed alchemy success. i use hoimi table, chest timer, and map method for farming seeds. some people call it cheating some don't. however, this is not a clime or anything, i think these are great tool. i say GO FOR IT!!! i don't need to wait for a rare, unreliable "start-up red slime" anymore. i've had to disable comments because i got many negative messages from haters...well, it's hard dealing with judgmental people. if you don't wanna watch it, click off the video now. please don't judge me by this music, either. not so easy to find 9 minutes long song. if you don't like this music, just mute it.

1. Have a character really low on health(i use double-edged slash).
2. Get to the alchemy pot , then use quick save.
3. After quick save, TURN OFF THE SYSTEM. This is a MUST.
4. Turn on the DS again, and then load the save.
5. Now you are in front of the krak pot again. Now go check your healer's stat and write down his/her Magical Mending stat. Go to the Hoimi Table calculator below.

6. Now, proceed to use the basic heal spell on your character really low on health. Use a calculator and write down how much HP he/she recovered by. Do this 5 times, and type in the 5 numbers in order on the hoimi calculator. Make sure your character's health is low enough so he/she does not recover his/her HP fully.
7. Now click the button at the bottom of the page to input the data.
8. This should bring you to the result page where you might see a few links with random numbers and the words JAVASCRIPT / CGI(green letter) next to it.
9. Click on the link on the result page. If you do not see any links, something went wrong earlier, start the process over.
10. Now you will see a Hoimi table. Right now, I am on the 5th square since I used heal 5 times. Your goal here is to find the next available either a Red square or a BLUE square on the hoimi table and get to the square BEFORE it. In my case, my first available BLUE square is #7. but remember? Where you want to end up is one space BEFORE a RED or BLUE square. therefore my target is #6. so 6 (target square) - 5 (i used 5 heals) =1. i need to cast 1 more heal to get to the target square#6. For example, if your first red or blue square is square #18, you used heal 5 times, that means you need to use Heal 12 (18-1-5) more times to get to square #17. Note: when you Heal, the character does not actually need to be physically healed anymore. Even if you get the message "Hero does not need healing" or whatever, THAT IS STILL FINE. All you need to do is click on Heal. Multiheal (recover 100HP for all 4 members) will move you 4 squares so you can get to the BLUE or RED square quicker. Omniheal (priest move where you recover all HP of all 4 members) will move you 8 squares.
11. When you finally get to the square BEFORE the target BLUE square, exit the menu and go to the alchemy pot directly and you will make an ultimate 5 star gear 100% of the time. DO NOT connect to wifi at this point. That will move you to the next square and mess up the trick. I am not sure about carrying the thief's theory/thief's revocation medal. i always leave those items behind just in case.


remember, there is a RISK (once an alchemy attempt fails, you will lose your alchemy items) that the whole deal will fall through if you don't do it right.
