Did you know that Doctor Doom was one of Spider-Man’s earliest villains?

In The Amazing Spider-Man #5 (1963), Doom mistook Spidey for a potential ally and tried to recruit him to fight the Fantastic Four. When Spider-Man refused, Doom immediately turned on him, leading to their first battle!

Doom even kidnapped Flash Thompson, thinking he was Spider-Man, proving that even the smartest villains can make dumb mistakes!
