Please aware that this game is set in a time period of and includes themes of colonialism. This is something I mention throughout the gameplay and I encourage open and honest comments about this type of game content as we explore our global history. The colonization and destruction of Africa by Europeans remains one of the most brutal scars of colonialism and continues today under capitalism. It would be dishonest to play a game that features two of these such colonizers and not address that these men and those like them left long lasting, ever present wounds open for many on the continent of Africa. As Africa continues to be exploited, it's ancestors forcibly moved around the globe as part of the slave trade suffer in nations like my own with inequality, and the threat of climate change challenge a continent and its people already facing adversity, please remember that these European explorers were not the heroes you were taught they were.
