Dragon Age DLC:The Darkspawn Chronicles Part 4:The End
So, as we continue our massacring and slaughtering (you know, the Usual), we get a message from the Archdemon telling us that he is not only in danger, but also is injured. On top of that, it seems that Alistair is actually attempting to murder him. This last fight is actually rather hard since you have to protect the Archdemon from dying (and, if he does, it is an automatic failure) while trying to kill four heroes at the same time. To say that I had to repeat it a few times would be an obvious statement. I found the best way to complete it is have a mage just go on healing duty while the other members murder the other heroes.
Final Thoughts: Overall, I thought it was a rather interesting concept that is rarely used (playing as the bad guy to murder a bunch of people) that I kind of enjoyed. A lot of it was "Go there, Murder that" but, then again, we are assaulting the city which means that is all there is. Now, what would have been really interesting would be if they could make a huge DLC like Awakening from the perspective of the Darkspawn. Have a Vanguard and a demonic crew that you could destroy villages till the final fight. Speaking of the Vanguard, I thought it was a little odd that they threw you into a particular role (that being a warrior) considering this game has a lot of character customization. However, you can play as other Darkspawn after enthralling them and, for the most part, they have different play styles. Overall, I thought this DLC offered a fair bit of fun within an Hour's worth of game time. I thought it was fun murdering those particular people who were stuck up and rude to us during the Main Campaign (the main reason I think this DLC was created).
