While I'll hold my final judgment of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero until it releases; what I've played so far has driven home that sense of nostalgia that I was looking for. However, significant moments also stood out to me while playing, highlighting the considerable steps in-game animation that Bandai Namco has been making. Watching these characters charge and blast around the levels is a visual treat to anyone watching or playing. That said, they may have risen the bar a bit too high for other anime fighters that follow.
