In this video I'm watching the CPU fight the CPU while selecting all the females of the game and competing them against one another on various stages of the game - unlike in the previous video they can't fall out of the ring and will have to fight until their health is depleted - I'm also mostly just doing one battle per two contestants unless they have many skins - as the mod has been modified there are a bunch of extra characters from DB, DBZ, DBGT and the movies from the 80's and the 90's.

Sadly my configuration for this game, which had been configured a few months ago and worked perfectly without the use of GW Hacks sadly stopped working, and I couldn't remember the solutiion to the ghosting-effect for transformations without using the GW Hacks - so in this video I'm using 3x Native just like in the earlier videos but now with GW hacks on and the offsets at 400, 400 - unfortunately the Penguin Village also has a black sky bug because of this.

Edit: There is a slowing effect on the sound in the video, so when I played the game the sound happened at the same time as the scene but in this video the sound happens before the scene or after the scene.. It's very irritating but I've spent yesterday trying to fix a very annoying issue with this game that I had already spent two days solving a few months back.. I don't think it works as flawlessly now.

This game has been modified with the hack/mod named "DLC Classic to GT Hack" - which enhances the game by adding new characters in the form of alternate skins, it would seem that in the original Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 game that many of the characers used between 1-4 alternate skins, not every character used all four - the hackers have managed to enable four skins for every character which means that the hack still retains all of the old characters and their skins while also adding additional skins for either the same characters with different clothes for those characters or entirely new models in essence adding more characters but with the voice-lines and the moves of the old characters. A few of these new characters have new guns and gear but they still use the same moves as the character they're based on.

So this hack is also replacing the music with the Japanese music - but it's not as complete as the other mod which only changed the music. There are a few slots not in use here so there are fewer songs. This hack will add new characters in the form of skins, as previously stated - for Dragon Ball (DB), Dragon Ball Z (DBZ), Dragon Ball GT and for the characters of the movies. It's the ultimate mod/hack for original fans who grew up with DB, DBZ, DBGT or the original movies - the hack doesn't include Dragon Ball Super or any characters from the modern movies or the modern games. It has everything from the 80's tthrough the 90's - including minor characters like all the soldiers of Slug, Turles, Garlic Junior, Cooler, Bojack, Broly, Doctor Wheelo etc, all of Bardock's crew including Goku's mother Gine, lots of characters that were missing from the original sagas. There aren't many characters missing from the original show and the fillers.

I did download many mods for DBZ Tenkaichi Tag Team for the PSP and most of them added DBSuper characters or characters from the modern games - and I haven't watched Super or played much of the modern games - I still downloaded those mods, but I much prefer this hack/mod because it's focusing on the original stuff. And I haven't even watched most of the old movies or the original anime. I've read all 42 volumes of the manga and watched the Dragon Ball (DB) anime up until the arrival of King Piccolo. As for DBZ I've watched the Saiyan and the Namekian saga plus a few additional episodes, and I've watched the movie "History of Trunks" and one of the Garlic Junior movies. I haven't watched DBGT but I've finished the Story Mode in Tenkaichi 2 and 3 which had some of the characters and their story in them.

In order to get this mod you'd need to download the hack which is a file separate from the game, and then you'd need to patch the game with a tool - I was lucky when I stumbled upon this hack and it's better than I had expected. Certain mods/hacks are unstable and this one isn't one of them - it doesn't crash at all. Easily my favorite mod for DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3. There are two other mods that are worth checking out too - DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 4 which adds DBSuper characters and new moves for them (it's really cool but not as stable - and I lack a connection to DB Super as I've never watched it,) and the Xenoverse mod which keeps the game intact as the original game but replaces the models in the game with Xenoverse models.

The hack in this video is my favorite. The Tenkaichi 4 hack is the most impressive in terms of new features and new attacks. And lastly the Xenoverse mod/hack is the best looking with PS3/PS4 models replacing the PS2 models.
