Previously, the party won big at Sorutiko Casino and got some prizes. Now, they will work on the sidequests in Sorutiko.
Just west of the equipment shop, they find a dapper man in red with a quest (time 2:05). He issues Quest 14: "My Wife is Strong" ("妻は強し"). He asks the party to acquire a Pink Coral from a Sea Golem on Sorutiana Coast. The reward is a book with whip recipes.
In the northwestern Resort Hotel, the party talks to the man in the kitchen (time 3:39). He issues Quest 15: "Showdown! Kandar Pirates" ("対決!カンダタ海賊団"). It sounds like the hotel's shipment has been waylaid by the Kandar Pirates! Sound familiar, anyone? He wants the party to head to the Island South of Derukadaaru and reclaim the Black Pepper from the pirates.
Afterwards, the party zooms to the camp in Sorutiana Coast (time 5:22).
On the eastern shore, they find a Sea Golem (time 6:29). After its defeat, they acquire a Pink Coral for Quest 14 (time 7:28).
Then, the party boards the ship at the southeastern pier (time 8:18). Just to the southeast of Sorutiana, they disembark at the Island South of Derukadaaru (time 8:46).
In the east of the island, they find a farming point for Glass Frit (time 9:36).
On the northeast hill, there is a farming point for Royal Soil (time 9:57).
On the northwest hill, there is a shrine with a Magic Key door (time 11:20).
By the water west of this hill, there is a farming point for Yousei Blossoms and Seabreeze Flowers (time 11:43).
On the southwest hill, the party finds the Kandar Pirates (time 12:12). After the dialogue, it is time to face Kandar and his goons. This battle is disappointingly easy, but watch out for critical hits. It is best to take out the goons first.
At the end of the battle, Camus reaches Level 18 (time 14:52). He gains 2 skill points for a total of 7. Also, Kandar drops a Tough Guy Tattoo.
Afterwards, the party acquires the Black Pepper (time 15:33).
At the northern end of the hill, there is a farming point for a Seabreeze Flower (time 16:12).
On the same hill, one of the trees holds a Bowgun Target (time 16:20). Many of these small islands have one Bowgun Target apiece.
On the small southern islet, there is a chest containing a recipe book for rings (time 16:42). It has recipes for Strength Rings, Prayer Rings, and Agility Rings.
After exploring this island, the party zooms back to Sorutiko (time 18:01).
They talk with the client for Quest 14: "My Wife is Strong" (time 19:04). They hand in the Pink Coral from the Sea Golem. In return, he rewards them with the recipe for the Beast Whip. Quest 14 complete!
Afterwards, they report in to the client for Quest 15: "Showdown! Kandar Pirates" (time 20:44). They turn over the Black Pepper. He rewards them with recipes for the Bandit Turban and the Bandit Cape. These are Camus-exclusive pieces that change his costume. Quest 15 complete!
Next, the party zooms back to the camp in Sorutiana Coast (time 22:29).
At camp, they check out the new recipes (time 23:05). They make the Pretty Cap for Veronica. This requires two Yousei Blossoms and a Cotton Flower. They succeed at making a Pretty Cap +2.
Also, they craft a Bandit Turban for Camus. This requires two Yousei Blossoms, a Cotton Flower, and a Sorutiana Shell. They succeed at making a Bandit Turban +2.
Unfortunately, they have run low on ingredients. I don't think they even have access to the ingredients for the Beast Whip yet.
The party zooms back to Sorutiko (time 26:48).
In the weapon shop, they pick up an Edged Boomerang for Camus (time 27:46). It costs 1,500 Gold. At the armour shop, they grab Steel Armour for Davilas. It costs 2,300 Gold.
Next time, the party will take care of some Bowgun targets in Deruka Costa and Napugaana Jungle.
Thanks for watching!
