This is video #070 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest XI: 過ぎ去りし時を求めて (Echoes of an Elusive Age). I am playing the Japanese version for the Sony PlayStation 4. Previously, the party explored Yugunoa Cove Island and the North Sea Island. Now, they will finish up their island exploration with the western islands north of the White Cove.

After resuming, the party zooms to the White Cove (time 1:05). They board the ship there and begin sailing northeast.

Off the snowy northwest region, the party finds South Shikesubia Island (time 3:29). There are a lot of avian enemies here. Look out for the Pteranodons, which have single-targeting instant death spells.

In the northwest, north of the dock, there is a farming point for Royal Soil (time 4:04).

By the south-central ledge of the northern part of the island, there is a farming point for Mirrorstone (time 6:56).

In the west of the southern part of the island, there is a farming point for Narspicious and Yousei Flowers (time 8:25).

In a battle, Veronica reaches Level 25 (time 10:29). She gains 4 skill points for a total of 7.

In the southern part of the island, the party finds the fifth and final Bowgun target for the islands (time 11:37).

On a rise to the east, there is a chest containing a Lucida Shard (time 11:51).

On the way back to the ship, Davilas reaches Level 25 (time 13:04). He learns "Merami", or Frizzle. He gains 4 skill points for a total of 8. Senya reaches Level 24. She learns "Zaki", or Whack. She gains 3 skill points for a total of 3.

The party boards the ship (time 15:37).

To the southwest, they dock at West Medachatto Island, north of the White Cove (time 17:49).

Upon landing, the party earns an accolade (time 18:04). The player earns the trophy "Island Mania" for visiting all the small islands in the world.

During a battle, Camus reaches Level 25 (time 20:23). He gains 4 skill points for a total of 7.

Near the northern end of the western beach near the dock, there is a farming point for White Shells (time 21:33).

Then, Sylvia reaches Level 25 (time 22:29). He gains 4 skill points for a total of 7. He spends 6 points on the Whip ability Spark Shot, which can blind a group of enemies while attacking.

As the party continues on, Martina reaches Level 26 (time 24:48). She gains 3 skill points for a total of 4.

The northwest shrine requires the Ultimate Key to open (time 26:03). The north-central shrine requires the Magic Key (time 27:36).

By a tree in the south, there is a farming point for Silk (time 28:02).

On the southern side of the hut in the southeast, there is a barrel containing 200 Gold (time 28:12).

On the northern side of the hut, one of the pots contains Mini Medal #027 (time 28:24).

Inside the southeast hut, the party finds the Bodkin to report to for the island Bowgun targets (time 28:54). For sniping all five island targets, he rewards the party with four Mysterious Berries. These interesting fruits appear to put the consumer in the Zone. This could be very helpful for certain quests. The party also receives a couple of accolades.

The party can sleep for free in this hut (time 30:33). However, there is nowhere to save, so the party returns to camp afterwards. Next time, the party will head to the Medachatto region and--gasp--move on with the story.
