Davilas is currently carrying out the Version 2.3 storyline. Previously, he began the V2.3 final dungeon, the Magical Palace. He cleared out the treasures from the east and west wings. He defeated Dark Realism possessing one of the east wing's paintings, but the charm status stood in his way of defeating Wild Fauvism in the west wing. He will now challenge Wild Fauvism again and then move on to the north wing.
Starting out at the camp in the Ryana Desolate Area, Davilas heads west to the Twisted Deformed Earth (time 0:57). In the north of the third area, he heads into the Magical Palace (time 1:41). Unfortunately, this area prohibits using the Dol Board and running from battle.
In the west wing, Davilas goes up the stairway at D-4 just west and north of the foyer (time 3:26).
At A-4 in the west of the second floor, he examines the painting of the caged bird (time 4:16). He gets sucked in, and the mimic painting traps him.
Now, it is time for the rematch against Wild Fauvism (time 4:50). Wild Fauvism's main irritation is its ability to charm party members. Its flying daggers are also very dangerous. Try to avoid clustring in front of it. If you're casting spells or playing a support role, consider keeping your distance.
A short scene plays after the battle (time 14:11). The cage disappears from the picture, leaving the bird free.
When Davilas leaves the boss area, he is taken to the upper level of the foyer again (time 14:57).
On the ground floor of the foyer, he heads north through the door at D-4/E-4 to the north wing (time 15:32).
In the northeast room at G-2, there is a black chest containing a Baramos Card (time 17:06).
Davilas then goes up the stairs at F-2 to the second floor (time 17:46). At the crossroads, he turns south.
In the south of the north wing, there is a black chest on a balcony at D-4 (time 18:30). It contains a Gracos Card.
The northern room in the north wing contains the possessed painting. Davilas will take care of it after finishing his exploration.
Davilas heads west down the stairway at C-2/D-2 (time 20:16). Look out for the high-flying Gelbatrosses.
In the northwest room at B-2 on the first floor, there is a black chest containing an Yggdrasil Leaf (time 21:38). Definitely worth going a little out of the way, eh?
Back upstairs, in the room at D-1, Davilas examines the painting (time 23:41). Again, he gets sucked in and attacked by a painting mimic.
Then, it is time to battle Evil Cubism (time 24:16). Evil Cubism summons multiple Ghosts into the battle at a time. This painting is not nearly as bad as Wild Fauvism. It does not have the previous painting's dagger attack, and while it may attempt to charm the party, it does not seem to do so often.
When the Evil Cubism is defeated, Davilas reaches Minstrel Level 89 (time 29:00). He gains 1 skill point. He puts this into Knives for a total of 26.
A brief scene takes place afterwards (time 29:31). The painting is beautifully cleared up.
Another scene occurs as he exits the painting (time 30:49). Now that the other three paintings are cleared up, the large painting of the goddess on the northern balcony is changed, and not in a pleasant way. It will now serve as a gateway to Version 2.3's final boss.
Afterwards, Davilas evacuates the dungeon (time 32:11). Then, he heads out to do some commerce and rest. Next time, he will return to the Magical Palace and hopefully beat up the boss.
