Tutorial ~ "Anti-TESSA" (From Save Corruption)


** THIS IS TRICK IS NOT NEEDED ANYMORE WITH THE NEW PATCH. THE LATEST PATCH FOR DRAGON'S CROWN REMOVES THE OVERFLOW FROM EQUIPMENT (WHICH TESSA HAS) WHICH WILL CAUSE THE SAVE DATA TO BE CORRUPTED AND YOUR GAME TO CRASH **


TESSA is a well known hacked character which you can pick up the bones on your online gameplay.

This video is made because I am surprised not many people knew about this (I've been doing this, changing equip bags, since the JP versions).

But finally I gotten the infamous TESSA hacked bones, so I figured I might as well use myself as a test-subject to show how you can avoid the Save Corruption while recording this.

When you pick it up, it is automatically determined if you get one of the item equipped on the default equipped bag. Sadly if you are unlock, that item will be a hacked one (overflow impossible data stats) which will CORRUPT your Save Data.

You have two choices if you get TESSA:
01) Revive and remove from list (extremely costly)
02) Bury and hope you don't get the item

This video is to show another method to help lower the chance (or overall remove the chance from getting it).

As you can see in the beginning, I burned her and got the "Emergency Ring" (lucky me, didn't get the hacked item)! It is ALWAYS 100% determined (at the time when you pick up her bones) when you bury her, so I was lucky not to get the hacked item at all.

CHANGE HER BAG EQUIP ON ANOTHER BAG

This will give you NOTHING because at the time you pick up her bones, the game ONLY determines what item is picked (if any) if you buried with her current equipped bag (at the time you picked her up).

Since you choose another bag, this is completely void.
