Dreams PS4 tutorial: Pick up part Logic system!
4Welcome back to a dreams tutorial and i'm gonna show you can make a pick up part logic system. first things first search up for an asset you want to pick up. Go into menu by pressing square then go into gadgets, logic and processing and grab yourself a microchip, after grabbing the microchip click L1 and X to add the group to your asset for your part then open up the microchip by clicking L1 and X. when the microchip is opened go to menu then go to gadgets, sensors and inputs then grab yourself a trigger zone and a controller sensor, add then both to the microchip, back out into the gadgets menu then go to logic and processing then get yourself a selector then add that to the microchip, next go back into the gadgets menu then go to movers and outputs and grab yourself a text displayer then add that to the microchip.
Now we are going to edit the logics first before connecting them. YOU DO NOT NEED TO EDIT THE SELECTOR. First we are going to edit the controller sensor by pressing L1 and square then go to important properties and make sure possession mode is set to remote controllable. Now we will edit the trigger zone by clicking L1 and square. Detect the trigger zone as a tag then make sure its detected to player and make sure the green simble which is the trigger zone triggers the asset which is in the zone properties. Now with the text displayer by pressing L1 and square edit your text and type in hold square to pick up part or hold square for part. however you want it.
After all logics are edited we are going to connect the trigger zone to the text displayer start, then connect the trigger zone to the controller sensor but make sure it is connected to the power button. In the controller sensor connect the square logic to input B on the selector. then this one you have a choice to connect to to the asset. first option is you can edit it with a keyframe by going to animations in the menu and grab your self a keyframe. Edit the keyframe and make sure the asset is not visible so make sure the light is turned off after clicking L1 and square. The second choice is go to gadgets and go to logic and processing and grab your self a Not gate then add it to the microchip connect output B from the selector into the not gate then connect the not gate into the asset by clicking L1 and square and connect it to the power button. They both work the same. Make sure they are both connected from output B in the selector. then give it a test.
