So this is happening!
Deadly Rooms of Death takes you through the... rooms filled with deadly death! There are many rooms. And levels. And holds! Oh dear, so many rooms, so much death. Truly, a test.
In DROD, you are a man with a Really Big Sword (DO NOT NAME), with which you smite your foes like a true meister. Almost like a smitemeister, one might say.
Sometimes, this requires deft manoeuvring, other times it requires clever thinking and efficient pacing.
Other times, you run, using another angle of attack to your advantage, like a real man!
This game is deterministic and VERY heavily structured on turn-order. If you move, you move. Then everything else goes, according to their number. This means you can slide into enemies with your sword, or swing it, or block them. This, together with EIGHT exciting directions of movement, two buttons for mind-boggling sword-spinning action, allows for complex, nerve wrecking, mind-boggling adventures.
And tons, and tons, and tons, and tons of roach meat.
Mm.
Tasty.
Today, we are introduced to Gunthro Budkin. A heroic man of skill, strength, smarts and speed. Along his travels, he happens upon a terrible accident and must resolve the situation at hand!
Can this situation be resolved? Is resolution even an option? Can we solve the re? Will this flashback story be told in term for dinner!?
