Drol short play and disk drive sound (Apple II - Broderbund)
Drol (https://www.mobygames.com/game/drol) was an action game published by Broderbund in 1983 for the Apple ][. The author Aik Beng is actually Benny Aik Beng Ngo, who also created the game Bandits (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1f2pBfTO2Sw). The game used quarter track copy protection at track 2.75 to write the same data to both track 2.5 and track 3, similar to Karateka that had the same data on both track 2 and 2.5. You can hear the game checking the data at 0:28 and during the disk load between levels.
PS: The # of lives is stored at $5E and you can get infinite lives by changing $6A0E from E9 01 to E9 00. The level is stored at $BF4A and you can jump to the end scene by changing the value to 6. I tried to change the # of lives to $99 at the end of the video, but it ended up messing the game and causing game over :(
