Pro tip: On the touch screen, is everything you need to navigate and defend: Items, skills, map, and stats. Items shows all the weapons, power ups, and spell items that you pick up, Skills lists all of the aquired spells that you take from enemies, the map show where you are and where you've been (you can also see the mini-map at the top of the top screen), and stats shows your current status along with your current equipment. When you highlight and equipment by holding the select button, it will show the advantages and disadvantages. Find your best advantages and start excavating.
