DTysonator & WizWar100 vs Battletoads (Famicom) Co-op Run
2Seeing as how we don't have a recent Let's Play available, we take you back to a blast from the past: a complete TOADALLY RAD 2P run of Battletoads for the Famicom!
"How does this video relate to the Canadian Thanksgiving?!", you ask. Well, it's simple: Those who struggled with the North American Battletoads were TOADALLY thankful for playing this WAY more balanced Japanese version, that's how!
Some of the most significant changes include:
-An easier Turbo Tunnel Level 3 with slower speeds to contend with
-An easier Volkmire's Inferno Level 7 with much wider fire gaps
-A virtually spikeless Terra Tubes Level 9
-A fully functioning Clinger-Winger Level 11 that actually allows both players to get through as a team, unlike the infamous North American version that contains a nasty glitch which prevents the second player from even playing!

An official NES console was used along with regular controllers and a Famicom adapter, in order to be able to play the Japanese Battletoads. Absolutely no cheating was used.
However, we opted to use the cheap "Hungry Man" in-game glitch to get through Level 12 in the end, in order to preserve a no continue run :).
