Dual Windows 8.1 instances streamed+non streamed augmenting Adobe Premiere Pro with Pen and Touch
1So you have a powerful Windows 8 desktop or Rig ..chances are it has no touch or pen input and chasing little chrome handles with your mouse or trackball really starts to grate at higher resolutions like 2560 by 1600 or 5120 by 1600 ..and you can hardly use touch or pen input on a vertical display... How about streaming your Windows 8.1 uber rig running Adobe Premiere Pro to say your ultraportable Windows 8.1 tablet which has pen and touch .. using the pen to operate the tiny tiny chrome features so beloved of nearly all serious PC desktop applications.. NB I also found that I can run Dual Windows 8.1 instances this way , one running native on the hardware of the Lenovo X220T and the second running on the same display but at an independent streamed resolution .. so we can not only have a 2560 by 1600 display on a 12.5 inc 1366 by 768 native res touch screen which we control with Pen and touch but also we can mix resolutions side by side ..more on this next time.. Whilst this video is just to demo the principal this use of the cloud and splashtop is how I have been editing videos for some time freed from my desktop and in an augmented and enhanced fashion thanks to the precision of pen and touch in Windows 8.1..
