Is it as good as the NES game?

Probably not, but it's by no means bad. Here's a chance to play 'Spot The Difference' and then invariably make comments mentioning said differences*.

Anyway, here's Amazon, the 'first' level. Can be considered tricky in places (Oh fuck you and your flying boot, Launchpad!), but this is a Capcom game after all. What would the first level be without the chance of falling to your death through the mistiming of a jump by a single column of pixels? (Conventional, that's what.)

Other than that, nothing to write home (or here) about. The boss in particular is a joke, and there's no way you'll ever catch me handing over thousands of dollars to an incredibly smug-looking statue either.
