For those struggling to get FPS up I've copy pasted my comment from my other skip video.

Go to graphics settings in windows and add the wow classic era exe to your programs, and then set it to high performance, this should give you a pretty hefty framerate boost.

Press Ctrl + R to see your FPS, Alt + Z is a good way to lower your fps, be sure to have your fps uncapped and also have vsync disabled or it caps your framerate. Changing to DirectX 12 and lowering your graphics also makes a big difference.

If you look down or up you should be able to see which renders less and sets your framerate higher as well. Some people have reported framerate increases from switching to windowed mode and using lower resolutions as well.
