131Dune's open world survival MMO, Dune Awakening, finally showcased gameplay at Gamescom 2024. In Dune Awakening, you beign as a nameless prisoner who must survive in the desert land of Arrakis. In battling against others, you'll be able to choose ranged weapons or take the combat upclose as a blade master. You'll be able to build bases, create blue prints, and sell your blueprints to other players. The environment was shown off as players flew around on built ornithopters. Players will be able to choose their alliance and will search for power via spice. Dune Awkening is set to release to PC early 2025.
